L’Dor V’Dor Society
L’dor V’dor Society
From Generation to Generation
Non-profits cannot survive let alone thrive without an endowment. The LJCC is, in this, no different.
In 2023, the LJCC received a bequest from beloved member, Anita Herzfeld. This gift allowed us to establish the L'dor V'dor fund. For the first time in our seventy year history, the LJCC has an endowment: security for the future and an assurance that we can continue our mission to be an egalitarian, inclusive, and thriving center for Jewish life.
Each generation of Lawrencians (men, women, those of all genders) deserve the opportunity to worship, learn, and grow Jewishly in community with others. We hope you will consider contributing to this egalitarian Jewish future by joining the L'dor V'dor Society and including the LJCC in your estate plans. If you intend to make such a gift, please reach out to treasurer Jordan Yochim or PED Lara Giordano (or any board member) so that we can connect you with resources and be prepared to receive and make the best use of your gift.

Although Hamas horrific attack on October 7th took Israel by surprise, in fact it was the culmination of over 100 years of Zionist-Arab conflict. In my talk I will try to put October 7th in historical perspective, to analyze the Israeli response, to discuss the current situation of Zionism and to integrate the story of the war with the political climate in Israel in recent years. -
