Doors open at 5pm for this Hanukkah revelry with the lighting of community menorot at 5:30pm followed by fresh-fried latkes compliments of the Fry Daddies and live Klezmer.     In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the LJCC invites you to join KU Professor of Education Anna Yonas in a frank surveyance of the landscape of genocide education in the U.S. Dr. Yonas will discuss her research into the state of contemporary genocide education and the challenge of preparing future educators to teach tough subjects in this increasingly fraught political era.
