Who We Are
Who We Are
We are an unaffiliated and lay-led Jewish community in Lawrence, KS.
We are locals, we are transplants, we are Jews by birth, we are Jews by choice, and we are family and neighbors who love Jewish community.
We are egalitarian and pluralistic and we welcome folks who want to be with us in that spirit.
We provide Friday night or Saturday morning Shabbat services as well as holiday services and celebrations.
Given the diversity of our community and our commitment to inclusivity, our services are in both Hebrew and English, with lay leaders having the option to lead from Reform, Conservative, and Reconstructionist prayer books and handouts.
As a general rule, we have Friday night services (either in-person or virtually) every week save for the second weekend of the month when we hold Saturday Torah services.
Visit our upcoming schedule of services and other events here.
