Helpful guidance for attending the High Holidays
Gut yontif! We are grateful to be able to welcome you to the LJCC to share High Holiday observances.
Please take a moment to review this helpful guidance for attending the High Holy Days at the LJCC:
-
Register in advance.
-
Park on the street if able to walk, leaving the closer spaces for those who need them most.
-
Enter via the North door only.
-
A check-in table will be present under a canopy near the north door. Please check in to receive an entry ticket, which you will show at the door.
-
Do not bring weapons
-
Leave large bags at home unless required for child care or personal care needs. Bags may be searched prior to entry
-
Police will be present in the parking lot to secure the exterior
The LJCC wants to ensure that all our members and guests have a safe and comfortable experience during the High Holidays and all year round. You play an important role in your own safety and comfort as well as that of others. We encourage you to:
- Register in advance so we can check you in quickly and help us plan for an accurate number of folks.
- Become familiar with the exits, first aid kits, defibrillator, and safe rooms.
- Defibrillator is marked AED in a box to the right of the east door in the social hall.
- First aid kits are near the AED, and on top of the cabinet next to the emergency exit door in the play area.
- Safe rooms are the bathrooms and first classroom on the right as you walk to religious school.
- Use your common sense to respond to emergency conditions while following instructions from the Safety Manager.
