5:30 PM - 7:00 PMJoin us for an early family-friendly nosh and Shabbat with special guest Sarah Sherer from Camp Ben Frankel. We'll nosh followed by a Shabbat services of songs and prayers.
Potluck theme is Mexican cuisine with a quesadilla main provided by the Family Programming Committee. Let us know in the notes section what you can bring!

Camp Ben Frankel is an overnight pluralist Jewish camp in Southern, IL that prioritizes creating an inclusive community while providing top-rated activities and opportunities for children to build confidence and create lifelong friendships. 5 day, 2 week, 3 week, and 4 week sessions are offered and scholarships are available.
CBF's Assistant Director, Sarah, will be at Lawrence Jewish Community Congregation on Friday, January 16, 2026 for our 5:30pm Family Shabbat celebration. She'll share a D'var Torah for the kids and families and visit with all our families to talk about camp and answer any questions you have about Camp Ben Frankel and Jewish overnight camping.
