Building an inclusive recipe for inclusive food

It’s good that restaurants broaden their selections to account for folks with various dietary needs, so isn’t it time for food-related language to accommodate as many folks as possible?

About the speaker:

Steve Bien-Aimé is an assistant professor in the William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Kansas. Prior to receiving his doctorate from the College of Communications at Penn State, Steve worked as a copy editor at various news outlets. His research interests include language use and portrayals in news and sports media. He has been an LJCC member since Fall of 2023.
