Like many of us, visiting Israeli KU piano faculty professor Zecharia Plavin has been giving deep thought to the current crisis in Israel. Biography of Zecharia Plavin:

Israeli pianist Zecharia Plavin, Visiting Professor, is a faculty member at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in Israel. A student of the renowned pianist Louis Kentner, Prof. Plavin has recorded the works of Scriabin, Schumann, Liszt and Orgad. He is an internationally respected pianist and teacher; he is also an author whose publications include four books and six produced plays. Prof. Plavin has directed international seminars with some of the world’s most distinguished contemporary composers, including Sir Harrison Birtwistle, Marcel Landowski and Einojuhanni Rautavaara.
